Was able to get the gears out with no problem. Chained it to the Farmall 756 and it pulled it easily. About ready to pull the radiator and support. Manual says to drain trans first. Is that necessary? Thanks for the help so far, I appreciate it.
You're going to disconnect the transmission cooler lines which will leak tranny oil. If you don't want to drain it, I suggest you invest in a couple of caps and plugs to fit the lines before you start. From memory I think they're ¾" JIC, but not sure.
