Grey market Mahindra tractor hydraulics

Tones · 2024-09-14 19:44

Does any one have information on the controls for the 3 point linkage? The tractor is a Mahindra MFS 245 which lost all hydraulics. I now have the steering and loader working only and am stumped as to why the 3pt link won't work. It has oil going through it but no pressure. I don't have any manuals so I have been fixing blind on this one.

Is there a priority valve issue? Is fluid getting hot? Just last week worked on New Holland Boomer 135A. Complaint was loader had no pressure in lift or down pressure mode but tilt function worked fine. Had good pressure to steering and 3 pt. worked fine so pump pressure good. Fluid to loader control valve and priority valve was getting hot without even using controls??? Figured spool valve, power beyond or one of the poppets was bypassing or something so disassembled, found no defects, replaced all o-rings and reinstalled. When fired machine up no change so tried to cycle 3 pt. and heard the machine "sigh with relief" three point control was all the way up and deadheading the system, something stuck? Rookie mistake having owner operate tractor while diagnosing, didn't hear system loading. Bottom line maybe you've got reverse scenario happening, maybe something is loading up bypassing priority valve. Check for heat in system, good indicator.

The priority valve wasn't working but is now, replaced the spring on the relief valve. Now I have steering and the loader working, ⅔s there, just got get the 3pt working to be real happy. There's nowhere to pressure test anything and don't know what values to obtain which is a PITA Give me industrial hydraulics any day.
