Grove AMZ Manlift will not idle, Throttle Solenoid operation, problem?

Hi, I am troubleshooting a 1998 Grove AMZ50 where all of a sudden the engine will no longer idle under gasoline mode. I am wondering if the 'throttle solenoid' has anything to do with it. There are two solenoids mounted on the engine. Choke and another one which must be a throttle solenoid. My hunch is that putting the engine in 'rabbit' speed should kick in the solenoid and cause the engine idle to speed up. Can anyone please comment on how the AMZ should respond to switching between rabbit and turtle mode? When I switch back and forth there is no visible action on or around the engine. It would seem the throttle solenoid being linked to the governor and ultimately the carb butterfly would be what should activate the higher RPM rabbit mode. It sure would be nice to have a schematic diagram of course. Is there anything available that would be useful? Regardless, could someone please explain to me what the throttle solenoid's purpose is on the AMZ? Thanks in advance.

Figured out what problem was and learned a few things. Turns out the carb jet was almost completely plugged up with some white crud. Upon cleaning the jet (screw in carb body next to the air/idle mix screw) the machine runs like a top. I removed the choke solenoid and lubed the cable and readjusted the cable stay and the choke works very reliably now. Rabbit/Throttle Solenoid: This solenoid is mounted right next the choke solenoid. It does not activate until in rabbit mode and a load is placed on the engine (like main boom movement) whereupon the solenoid puts tension on the governor linkage and resulting in the engine speeding up 1500RPM (somewhat adjustable). Next problem to solve is why the platform riser control does not return the riser completely down to the chassis but the corresponding ground control does return the riser completely down to the chassis. For some reason the 'riser down' joystick action stops lowering the riser short of reaching the lowest possible position. Could it be a limit switch hidden somewhere I have not found? Thanks for reading. Roger.
