Grove scissorlift parts still avail ?

davo727 · 2013-03-07 01:22

Hello, Thanks for letting me in. Im looking at used Rough terrain scissor lifts, dual fuel 25 to 35 ft and wondered about Grove Supermaxx lifts from the 1990s if parts are available for them? I guess Grove quit making the scissor lifts and just builds big iron now. Trying to get a handle on whether to consider buying one if I find a deal or just stick with JLG. Thanks, Dave a little north of Houston

here are a couple links for companies that may still have a fair supply of Grove parts. Check them out to see what they have available. Pumps, Drive Motors, Valves and Valve Manifolds, Brakes and associated Brake parts, Control parts, Safety components, etc. Research for availability the parts that are specific for the model you are considering for purchase. http://www.minnpar.com/partsordered.asp?Manufacturer=GROVE%2… http://www.partsforlifts.com/

Thanks for the info. Anyone on the forum here still using a Grove Super Maxx scissor lift?

Minnpar is who grove's current owners Manitowoc directs for current technical support, I have found looking up parts without the parts and service manuals for the lift you are working with can be a nightmare, once you get a part number you can the shop around for better prices than Minnpar.
