I'm looking for a hammer for a five ton excavator. Just wondering what everybody is using and what doesn't knock the machine about?
What sort of excavator is it (zero turn, manufacturer)? Some manufacturers only reccomend you use their hammers, and some machines cant put through enough fluid to operate certain hammers. A good recommendation is any of the TNB/Kubota hammers or the Cat hammers. Used both on larger machines and both work well.
Match your machine aux flow rate to the hammer flow requirement. I have a magnum on a kubota. Works great.
Give FEL-TECH Hammer Division a call if your still stuck.
