I'm just starting to install the rear hammer lines down to the end of my dipperstick. Looks like a slam dunk easy job and I'll be able to run a big demo hammer. Next, I'd like to look into installing a hydraulic circuit on the side of my machine to run a hydraulic hammer. The wiring is in place, the mounts for the outlets is welded to the side of the frame. My owners manual breifly discusses it. NH says I have to order a "Hand tool circuit" Cost is $1,200 Has anyone ever run a handheld hydraulic hammer? What is it like compared to an air hammer? Way heavier? More difficult? Is it worth installing?
