Have an articulating michigan loader with steering issue

Hi folks, and good morning. hopefully someone can guide me to a area to look at. I have a Michigan loader 853a. its in pretty good shape, but it has a steering problem. It feels like there is a wide tolerance with with a steering valve. When steering to the right, the steering seems to pulsate, which triggers the pistons, which in tune feeds back to the hydraulics, which causes the pistons to pulse which feeds back to the hydraulics, and this can be violent. It seems like there is excessive play in the steering box, or the control valves, i dont know. can the steering drag link effect this? I dont want to break anything.. Its a tight area to work in, but then what area isnt. Is there an adjustment to take up any slop to minimize the effect. When it it taps the trigger, the front end responds quickly.. If anyone could shed some light on this topis, it would be appreciated. also it looks like a fill pipe extends into the cab along side the steering column for a fluid fill.. does it take diff fluid? Help..plase Thanks kenny
