recently my boss got used electric forklift, while driving my head starts aching, im sure it happens because of forklift battery, but i can feel only a little smell from it. have some one had the same experience???
Could be ozone from the motor, or as you say some outgassing from the battery, some people are sensitive to it, others not. Might want to have a service tech give it a once over, if there are issues with motor brushes or a bad cell in the battery it will save your boss some money to catch it before it causes damage to other parts of the system.
A bad cell in an electric forklift battery can be absolutely vile smelling and will make you sick. Unless it's a new battery, it's worth checking out the possibility. Look for discolored electrolyte, that's a sure sign something is going bad.
