My dozer was pushing material forward and once it got hot, the machine just stopped and the revs picked up. It was able to reverse perfectly after that, but if it tries to go forward, it just stops almost as if it goes into neutral and then the revs pick up. Then sometimes it loses power, then suddenly goes again, then loses power again, then goes again, then stops. Any guidelines on what I can test to find the fault?

Have you changed all the fuel filters. Have you changed the transmission filters and cleaned the suction screen. Is the hydraulic oil tank and transmission oil full. How many hours on the dozer, how many hours on the transmission and torque converter. With floor boards off, when dozer stops moving is the drive shaft turning. Any previous repairs done, what kind of oil in it. How many hours on the oil. Is fuel running freely with hose off at fuel filter. Have you blown back the fuel return line to tank with bubbling happening in tank. Simon C
