Help with Cutting edge, end bits CAT parts #s

Looking for advice for CAT # for replacing cutting edge and ends bits on my D4H ser. #8PB01320. Im confident the center cutting edges are #3G9306 these are 5/8in thick 8in tall. with 6 holes and just shy of 35in long. The EDGE bits are what gets me. Im seeing #3G4285 that will work RH or LH 8in tall 3/4 thick x16.75 long NO ANGLE EDGE. and CAT # *8E9378-79 LH LH edge bits ANGLED ENDS 1in x 8in x 18.5in I see blades with cutting edge uniform all the way across and with angle cut ends...what other edge bits are out there that in the range of 5/8 x8 x 16.5-18.5 long that will match the center cutting edges. Or are there center cutting edges that are 3/4in thick to match the edge end bits? My blade now has 3/4in thick angled cut edge end bits and 5/8 in thick center cutters. Price wise there only 3-4 bux difference between the 3G4285 and the 8E9378. I have no problems with thicker edge end bits vs. center bits...but would like to know the part # of the 5/8 x8 x16-18in edge bits with the angle end to match the blade. Or have i just got things hopelessly mixed up???

It’s quite normal for end bits to be thicker than the cutting edges, because they are subjected to higher levels of wear and impact. I would go for the handed thicker 3/4” end bits to go with the 5/8” cutting edges. As a secondary comment, flat end bits are usually used for fine finishing work, something I assume you won’t be doing too much of.

The 3G9306 cutting edges and 8E9378/79 end bits are correct for your machine. As far as I can see, the 5/8" thick edges are your only option (from Cat. Other manufacturers of GET may have something thicker.) With end bits, you have a few more choices; As you say, the 3G4285 will fit. An advantage of those is you can swap them left to right when they wear. You can also get 1406787/88 which are a general duty hot cupped end bit, 7/8" thick. The corners will hang below the cutting edge (when new) so aren't suitable for finish work. Or there is an EWL (Extended Wear Life) corner 4T5407/08 which will fit. As above, but more metal on the bottom and 1" thick.
