I build golf courses for a living. We have moved dirt from the muckiest of muck to the best of sand. From 2 million yd blast jobs to 10,000 hoe and truck jobs. We use equipment from almost all categories; Hoes, trucks, scrapers, pans, challengers and quad tracks, D3's-D10's ripping. Always looking for other ways of doing things and there seems to be some pretty innovative thinkers out here so I figured we trade some info and horror stories. That's the TOP of the D8? How far down is the rest of it?
Hello! I did a little work at a golf course in central Oregon, about everything you just said right there.
i played a little mini golf once, my wife kicked my a@@. i whould love to do a golf course start to finish. somthing big like that must give you a lot of pride. when you drive by it and think [i did that.] somtimes i drive through a subdivision i helped cut the road in and remember what it was like before it was there.:usa
Golf Courses Need Dirt Too Here's some of the smaller jobs we do. This place hosts the PGA's BMW championship in Lemont, Il. We moved less than 40,000 yds of dirt on this project. http://www.coghillgolf.com/photos.html
