Hi guys. I recently bought an ex16 2b machine. The centre hydraulic pump started leaking so ive just had it repaired. Ive now refit it (what a **** of a job) and instantly after starting the machine its started leakig from one of the track motor pumps. It wasnt before which leads me to think ive done something wrong or is it just sods law its gone! Any help would be great. Cheers.
Leaking from where they stack? Port? Body seal?
It seems to be from an allen key bolt on the track motor. I was hoping it was from a connection which may of come loose when fitting the centre pump.
Did you check the o ring? If you just installed the pump did you bleed the air out of the pump prior to starting the engine?
The oring seemed fine. No didnt bleed the air out. How would i do this and would that cause the leak. Thanks.
Was the pump a gear pump or a bent axis pump?
Its most likely completely unrelated to one another. But i did once see a small machine get air locked after changing a pump and it continued to blow O rings. Hopefully you get it figured out!
