Hey. We recently bought this 1999 Hitachi EX40U. And with every used machine comes its problems. first off the faster crawler gear doesnt appear to work its a "pedal" on the floor and when i press it the green light with the rabbit inidcating faster speed, lights up but the speed doesnt change. Ive removed it to see if i could locate som problems but i didnt fint anything wrong. This is probably an electrical fault? i dont really know what to look for anymore. Some talk about that theres supposed to be a Relay for the crawler gear? if someone encountered this problem or has a solution i would be very thankful. The second probblem is also attatched to the crawlers, the right hand sides track motor has been exchanged and i runnig faster than the left side. This is noticed mostly when going straight forward. Is there anyway to adjust its speed or hydraulic flow?? im also interested in anykind of service manual or handbook for the machine if someone would happen to have a PDF book?
