Hitachi Hydraulic Pump Timing

   The timing requirements of the pump rotate group can be achieved by using the piston pocket positions. The objective is to have the pumping strokes alternate exactly between the two rotate groups. One piston of one rotate group is at the mesh point exactly between two pistons on the other rotate group.

   Common sense says they wouldn't work properly and may cause a lot of damage is my guess.

   Yes. If not timed it could create an imbalance, or vibration, I'm guessing.
