the sealing of the arm cylinder rod side failed 3 times in 200h due to over pressure in rod side Only when functioning the arm-in movement in half lever, I've a to high pressure in the arm cylinder rod side (4600psi, normally it's like max. 3000 psi). When at the same time I do another movement that ask more pressure from the pump (boom up, attachment or driving), the pressure in rod side goes up to 5700psi. When functioning the arm-in in full lever, the pressure in rod side is good (around 3000psi) I've check the control pressure, the arm regenerative valve and control pressure and the main spool. They are all good some ideas of the cause? thanks
Is there an arm holding valve on the arm cylinder?
Pumps don`t put out any pressure. they produce flow. Restrictions create pressure. The destroke of the pump should be a combination of ther speed sensor, pressure sensor, the PVC control box and the angle sensor. Arm in is the barrel side which is a combined pump flow, but you are saying rod side, which one is it, rod or barrel side ? The regen valve just takes oil from the rod side and uses it to reroute oil to the barrel end as the pump can`t supply enough oil so I can`t imagine it being a problem. The fact that it is in one circuit, the main relief valve is common to every function. However the circuit reliefs are specific to each end of each function. Have you swapped any of those from rod to barrel side ?
