Hi, I have an Hitachi zx 50 2004 done 8500h, engine runs fine, tracks fine, as soon as i put a good load or digging it will bog down and stall if i dont release the leavers, once leavers are released it recovers in 1 -2 sec.......any ideas ?? i have just purchased this and i gave it a FULL service all filters etc, just to teat simple fuel issues i have also removed the filter units and done a test from the tank, still the same
Could be a hydraulic pump adjustment issue, but... Starting where the fuel line from the tank first connects to the fuel system, one at a time pull every bolt out of it's banjo fitting, inspect to see if there is a tiny strainer in the center of the hollow bolt, if you find one remove it and clean it, and then replace the bolt. The Japanese engine makers love to put these things in, usually right at the transfer pump inlet. If it has a fuel shutoff solenoid make sure the shutoff arm is returning completely. Just some things to check....
