not 100% sure what you mean? is this a hydraulic cylinder or pneumatic cylinder? in either case if it is single acting it is quite simple to check .remove the vent line from the non pressurised end of the cylinder and check for either hydraulic fluid or air escaping Mark
Thats is an hydraulic single acting cylinder...how to know if there is an internal leakage at the cylinder. If it possible that the cylinder is no piston means ram type cylinder? Because in my case there is an small amount of oil comes out at the gland of the cylinder.
Yes, it is possible that there is no piston and piston seal, and the rod is the ram part of the cylinder. Just like a porta power ram. Is the cylinder weak? or are you trying to fix the leak? Pics would help.
