Could anyone help me with how much a machine will go for hourly, with operator, fuel and such?? Keep in mind I live and will be working in a rather affluent area in New Jersey, average household income is prob 80-100k a year. Cat 315 Excavator D5 sized dozer Skid Steer Full Size Back hoe 953 track loader. Also, what kind of profit margin do you try to fit into a job?? Thanks!!

Cat 315- $115 an hour Cat D5-$120 an hour Skid Steer- $65 an hour Backhoe-$80 an hour Cat 953- I'd have to guess on this one and say somewhere around $150 an hour. If your working in sand or clay add a little money on because that beats on your undercarriages

without braking anything down. $150.00 hr. each after wages (mine), fuel, maintance, health insurance, wage for wife (bookeeper), replacement account, Uncle Sams 35%, retirement account, and a fee for the shop. There has to be at least 25% profit.
