How to access power mode in a cat 312cl

Good morning team,the last button on the left side of the B series monitor is for power mode, 1,2,3 to select the desired working speed of the machine. 1 is slow(for heavy lift) ,2 is fast for normal operations, 3 is faster .How can I access this function on a 312cl

    Push the button until desired mode is displayed?

    I don't recall the C models having any modes. If my old brain cells are remembering right, you just used the throttle dial to control output of the machine.
