Hello, I recently purchased one of these machines and it just started alarming coolant level alarm. I have topped up the coolant overflow and checked radiator level and all is good (Not overheating). But the alarm wont turn off. I have checked connectors and all looks good. Does this machine have a float? Or is it a sensor? Can I bypass it by shorting out the connector or something to shut it up for the short term? Any help would be appreciated
There is a sensor at the bottom of the plastic reservoir. Disconnect the harness connector for it and then plug a jumper wire into the harness side connector. The alarm should go out. If it doesn't, you likely have a wiring issue.
