How to roll tracks off JD 330 to remove track tensioner

Don’t want to split tracks , never been apart,likely very frozen

    You would have less of a fight if you went ahead and broke the track. Otherwise you will need a couple of gorillas with prybars and an operator in the cab. If your track rails are thin, you stand the possibility of breaking/fracturing one of them that will fail when you least expect it.

    I have done it many times, back the idler all the way off, place the bucket next to the idler to lift the machine a little while turning the track into it to push the track to the inside of the frame. It is much easier to get it back on in my opinion when it is supported by the track frame then when it is laying on the ground. It is still an exercise in patience and not fun but better than splitting the track if you aren't set up for that.

    Based on your other thread I would explore the leaky adjuster completely before getting too hasty there.
