I have a 04 SK160 (s# ymo2u0469) that i put a diverter valve on to supply oil to a rotary mulcher head. I wired the diverter to a rocker switch in cab and when i switched it on sure enough rotary spun up to maybe 200 rpms. Now when i ease boom up pumps stroke-up and rotary spins up. It never dawned on me to afterwards i am not signaling pumps to supply oil when divertor valve is switched on. How can i get machine to pump oil always when i have valve on?
And i do not have aux. hydraulics, that would make it much simplier.
Do you not have an option spool or aux spool in the main valve blanked off .
It might be an option to see if the local Kobelco dealer or heavy equipment wrecker parts can find you some auxiliary pipework to run the mulching head if you have any quantity of work to do. Should you have put variable flow divertor on the track oil flow so you have more oil into the boom/ mulcher flow when you need it? There are some example mulcher hydraulic circuit diagrams online.
what i need the aux. hyd for is that it would already have the valve inplace under cab already connected to computer and the pilot pump. as it stands i have no way to hook into system to signal pumps to stroke up when diverter is switched on.
Did you get this problem sorted yet.
