The cat excavator engine is not starting. It stopped in wrong position. I want to swing it and then pull it to a low bed. Can any one suggest how easily release swing brake Thanks
Good day Not easy hook a porta press or another machine to the brake line, you could lift the assembly up and out of the transmission. Kind regards Uffex
I think what affex is suggesting is to pull the swing motor out of the swing reduction gear box or use a porto power to feed oil to the swing parking brake to the house can be turned. As I recall Cat uses a bunch of bolts in a circle to hold the motor to the reduction gear box.
