I'm a manufacturer of dozer undercarriage parts for aftermarket, we usually sell parts by part number or machine models, then confirm the assembling drawings with clients. Now I got a Caterpillar D9G dozer serial number and part number for bottom roller of D9G from a client, customer seems to have no idea about that either and not able to confirm the drawing. How would I know this bottom roller part number matches the this machine serial number?
To do this, you need to write here in the forum the serial number of the bulldozer and the part number of the roller. Only after that can you check the compliance.
Thank you for your reminder, Dmitry.
Hello everyone, update for last post: D9G serial number: 66A12708. Now got a part listing for it, please see the attached picture, I'm seeking advice on how to verify that this machine's serial number matches the corresponding part numbers. Any guidance or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Hello. From the information in SIS, serial number 66A12708 shows TRACK ROLLERS 4M-0583 Roller Assem.(With Shaft)(DOUBLE FLANGE) 4M-0582 Roller Assem.(With Shaft)(SINGLE FLANGE) And also TRACK CARRIER ROLLER 7M-5288
Track Roller Group Part Numbers 5M-0584 (SF) & 4M-0585 (DF) were originally fitted to all machines with S/N from first built up to 66A3265. Track Roller Group Part Numbers 7S-7672 (SF) & 7S-7673 (DF) replaced the earlier Part Numbers and were fitted to all machines from 66A3266-Up. 4M-0582 comprises a roller shell, bushes, duo-cone seals, and shaft (no end caps) and is a part of a the 7S-7672 assembly. In a similar way 4M-0583 is part of 7S-7673 assembly. See attached.
