hyd oil temp ?

i have a deere 328 high flow and i would like to know what the acceptable high temp for hyd oil would be. i am going to be running a mulching head and just want to be safe. thanks

    Hydraulic 46? (From my oil suppliers safety data sheet) There are supposed to be no volatiles at 212F Flashpoint 392F Autoignition temp 482F Operators manual and one of those temp reading guns (50ish $) should help you stay within the Deere recommendations.

    The operator's panel gives hydraulic fluid temperature, why would you need a temp reading gun? Ken

    Generally, hydraulic should not get any warmer than your engine coolant. I usually started cleaning coolers when the temp got above 160 when running hard.
