hydraulic breaker specs

Usually on the specification of hydraulic breaker they give min and max oil flow required and the min and max impact rate or bpm, does it mean that if the breaker is fed with min flow we should expect min bpm and if it is fed with max flow required we should expect also the max bpm? Thanks

They normally have max bpm at 75% of breaker/machine capacity, to stay safe and also different machines have different oilflows, for instance a hyundai 210 has the same oilflow onequarter revs as a hitachi 210 on 3/4 revs, this speess up the hammer, if possible your better to work slightly below the recomemded flow rates, your machinery will last longer

I undestand that we shoud work slightly below the recommended flow rates. But what i wanted to know if we modify oil flow from min to max required on spec, does that mean the bpm changes from min to max given in the specs.

Good question michel, I think you are right. The min flow leads to min bpm and the same for max values

Yip it sure does, if you drive hald revs you get half the productivity, full trottle max bpm
