Changing hydraulic filter today for first time and wondered if there are any tips/tricks I should be aware of. I plan on just slacking all the hydraulics, spin off old, fill new and spin on.
Residual pressure in the system shouldn't matter, it's either a suction or return filter. Make sure it's clean around the filter, and make sure the old o ring comes off with the filter. Nothing to it, really.
