Does any one know off hand which spin on hydraulic oil filter cartridge fits a '81 Komatsu D31P-16? The one that is on the machine now has the number turned away from viewing (if it has a number on it) and I do not want to loosen it and not have the replacement handy. Tried looking up a replacement but everyone needs a number to cross reference. Might have to go to Komatsu if no one knows. Since Komatsu plates their parts with Gold it would be nice to just find a Wix number or Purolator. Thanks for any answers.

Might be the ticket though the Engine is a 4D 105 2 instead of the 3. Thanks very kindly for the information That Wix Filter lookup is very handy link to have.
H & E is the dealer in Arkansas. Why don't you call and get a parts book for your machine?
I have used H&E (Springdale, AR) to get parts but I did not think they would sell me a parts book. Something to check out. Thanks for the suggestion.
