Does anyone know if a 1999 Ford/New Holland 555e has JIC fittings? Any recommendations on good hydraulic hose end caps/plugs>
It’s been a few years since I did time in a NH dealership. I seem to recall a mixture of fittings. As far as cap/plug kits I’d say wherever they’re cheapest. I have gotten several sets off EBAY. About $40-45 each for JIC and FFO.
On my 575E the test ports inside the left cowl took a Parker 1PDF2 coupler to connect to a 1/4" NPT hose for a test gauge. The male section is about 1/2". I bought the fitting and hose caps from my local hydraulic hose store. My hoses and cylinders have O-ring face seal (ORFS) fittings.
