Picks up 16ft boxes & straight lifts it up & installs straight onto the truck chassis. Uses a aux engine to run the hydraulics. Rear stabilizer jacks for loaded boxes. Great for furniture moving. Uses a squeeze setup to grab the box from the bottom.
From 6ft to 20ft long box sizes.
Neat, is it cheaper than the PODS system? Why an auxiliary engine instead of a PTO?
Aux engine is on the traveler, so you can walk with it when it travels to the back. The oil tank & controls are also on the traveler. All you need are 2 lines if you want to run off the pto. Also this truck has the Allison trans with no pto gear because it is a highway service (HS) on the model number. It is actually made for a 16ft box size, but the customer also wants to pick up empty sea containers as part of his work. This unit did pick up 9500lbs as a test. The arms also widen 14" each side and retract inwards with the forks to lift the box with the fork pockets.
This one picked up 3 pallets of cement. Approx 9900lbs.
Testing picking up 9500lbs using 3 pallets of cement.
