what color is it supposed to be? mine is somewhat dark wondering if this needs to be changed?
it is depending on the type of oil it is. whats the hours on the machine ,is the oil smelling.what i use is 46 oil,32 oil,or 10w oil. 10w colour is dark brown. the 46/32oil is light brown or clear.
Universal Tractor or Duratran (hyd/transmission combo oil) is also a darker colored oil ...... sometimes it even appears to be reddish looking
maybe take a oil simple I have been taking oil samples on my machines. And using the filter cart.
