hi i have a 416b cat backhoe my hydraulic pump is not giving pressure how do i bleed the pump or what do you suggest
Pressure test the pump and the hydraulic hoses comming out of the control bank. This will determan if the pump is worn or the O rings in the control bank have failed. Also check the pressure relief valves. The pump shouldn't need bleeding.
Also, do a flow meter check, it takes pressure and flow, to make things work. While you are at it, pull the pump, and make sure it rotates, could be something simple, like a sheared key, or bad pump to motor connector...
hi, the machine uses a load sensing pump control system. you will need to check signal pressure at the pump compensator what is the serial number ? what is machine history ? has any work been done on the hydraulics lately? did the problem happen slowly or came on suddenly? have you operated all of the controls one at a time ? does it make any difference are there any unusual noises? where is the control bank located
Where is the control bank located
the backhoe is not computerized its manual pump it is a 1995 416b
The backhoe is no computerized it is a manual pump 1995 416 b
The pump uses hydraulic pressure to activate it, not a computer. There should be a small hose on conneted to the pump which is the compensator line.
