Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any experience - good or bad on the Hydrema m1100 wheeled excavator (thinking of buying a year 2000 model) subject to trial. Thanks.
WOW, where on earth did you find that? What sort of work are you doing/intending doing with it? I used to work for Hydrema UK, we never sold too many M1100s mainly because of their price in face of the comptition. As far as I can remember all the ones we did sell we pretty much heard nothing from the owners other than to order service parts. If you PM me with serial no.s etc I'll try and get some history and background on it for you. BTB
Ah, is this it? http://www.contractjournal.com/Classifieds/68018311/2000160hydrema160m1100160used.html
Hi BTB, we do a lot of contract work for the highways building retaining walls, which involves digging foundations etc usually where the roads are at their narrowest. I`m led to believe that the M1100 has a reduced tail swing radius which would be very handy. Currently using a Volvo/pel-job EC706 rubber duck which is very capable and compact, but a little more reach would be usefull. That is the very machine i`m thinking of buying, just waiting to see how much they offer for my 315.
Hi did you go ahead with the M1100 if so how is it going found 1 my self i looks great bit if kit butits big money
Hi Casedriver. It got sold before i could get to it, have recently enquired about another but out of my price range this time - 35k for 7 year old! i agree they do look a handy tool and specs quote 5000kg lift on new model.
