What is the light connected to? A charge pressure sensor, oil level sensor, oil temperature sensor?

i believe it would be the oil level sensor

Are you sure it's not a hydraulic pressure sensor? If you know for SURE it's a level sensor, it's probably the sending unit or wiring.

i guess it could be a sensor. i was told to change the hydro filter. i took it off and put the same filter back on and of course some fluid ran out but i started it and let it run for over 30 min and the light didnt come on and it didnt die. im wondering if i had to much hydraulic fluid in it

Probably a filter restriction indicator. I expect it won't be long before you see it again. I would go ahead and put a new filter on. I can assure you the problem wasn't too much fluid.

yeah i am going to go ahead and change the filter. hopefully that works. thanks for the advice
