Hyundai 160 LC-9 thumb

I have a 2012 Hyundai 160 LC-9. I operate the thumb with the foot pedal which is fine, but I’ve seen videos of other LC-9 machines operate the thumb on the joystick. Does anybody have the parts required to make it run off the joystick? Attached is a picture of the current valve for running the thumb. And a link to the video of using it on the joystick.

Good day Scroll buttons would require a proportional soleniod and a controller, on off could be controlled by a standard solenoid & buttons as in the video. Attached some information you can find more at excatech.org > Library > Adapted apps > how2 Kind regards Uffex

If you have the two dead buttons on the joystick, you can add a 24v Rexroth Solenoid with all ports blocked under the cab along with a D03 Manifold. T into the pressure side of the foot pedal and run that to the pressure port on the manifold. Connect the A and B ports on the manifold to the A-B lines on the foot valve using shuttle blocks. T in the tank line to the tank from the Foot valve. Along the bottom of the cabin towards the center of the machine you should find a bundle of wires. One of those controls the air compressor in the seat, I think its red and orange. Tap that wire for power for each of your solenoids. There are two fine blue and grey wires that come down from the handle. Use one of each to send power to the switch; one for open, one for close. Tie one blue and one grey together and ground the circuit to the frame. If the solenoid doesn't work check the fuse labeled "seat". The entire assembly is plumbed and wired under the cab. A simple strap secures it to the frame. We install these kits frequently on older excavators. Easy to troubleshoot and repair and the foot pedal stays in place as a backup.
