Hyundai 160 LCD-3 controller issues

Mike Durrell ยท 2020-11-04 08:27

Ser # EG01 GB B10303. Ran like a champ. Went to start after three weeks and could not get any controller responses. No throttle up or down, no up or down on travel speed. Panel lights up, alarm sounds but, no response to selector button. Touch the travel pedals and throttle immediately responds then dies a few seconds after foot is removed. Do I have a control panel problem, a control board problem or maybe a ground issue. Thanks in advance for ay help. (5055 hours)

Good day Mike From your description can we begin with the straight forward checks - please check your battery voltage I know this can affect ECU displays after three weeks it may have drained down. Controller input voltage is less than 18V Kind regards Uffex

Thank you Uffex. Will do. It starts quickly and seems to turn over well. It set from Oct 2019 till Aug 2020 and started right up but, I will test the batteries. Thanks again.

Found the mice did a number on the wiring harness just before the plug to the monitor. Did a repair on the damaged wires and the monitor worked perfectly for about ten seconds then reverted back to the Cor-error code. Where do I go from here ? Thanks.

Called in a pro. He dug around for a few hours and did some troubleshooting. Found a bare wire grounding out. Runs like a champ ''again''. Thanks to everyone who replied to me.
