Hey guys I need some help again… We have a 757-7 that will not shift into gear from neutral. The battery light is on and solid. No codes. Sometimes it works….most of the time it doesn’t. I have the service manuals, grounds are checked and clean. What could be going on? A stuck relay? Anyone else run into this?
I'd assume there is an issue with the shifter as no transmisison codes are thrown. TCU needs a N signal in neutral, needs a F for forward drive and N needs to go away. Which type of transmission is fitted? ZF 4WG210?
I will check today, I will say I originally suspected the same thing but I took the shifter off and put it on another machine and it worked fine.
