Called out on a HL955 for DEF injector & coolant loss. Swapped DEF injector and pinched of heater hoses. Next day they call and say the monitor is out. Verified wiring and fuses, then swapped it into our HL940. 940 monitor works in both, 955 monitor dead in both. $6400 was what I was quoted. (21WD-11102 --> new # 21WD-11401) Is there a repair service? Reman? Other options? It rides and drives, but you can access the bucket coupler, work lamps, etc.
You know the monitor going out, is directly related to you messing with the heater hoses. It all worked fine before you touched it.
but you CAN'T access the bucket or lights.
