Where would a stamping be located on an older IH dozer to identify such? Ran across one sitting for about 50 years since the mine closed in 1967 and it's been stripped for parts. Not much of use remains, but the top support rollers all turn freely. The tracks from the front of the idlers to the sprockets have been torched off and taken as have the push beams and blade. The engine is there but open to atmosphere and has several busted castings from this. No photos but I can get some when returning there next week. It was a gasoline starting diesel engine. From the size I would say at least a TD-20 or larger.
