I was wanting to start a careel as a heavy equipment operator, but I had a question before. In the winter up north, near ohio, and kentucky, is it like construction workers to where you may not have a job?
Well, I live in southern Ohio, southern enough to see Ky. when the leaves are off the trees. A lot of dirt work stops from thanksgiving until mid March. With most guys that is fine with them because that is a break from the 6 day work week at maybe 70 hours or so. Unless you're a contractor, you'll draw unemployment until callback time. We call it rocking chair time.
