Looking for approximated weight of a 1953 Insley serial number 2836 shovel or any help where I can find that info would be appreciated. Thank you!
Insley information is getting hard to find. My father had a 1952 vintage insley K machine with 36 feet of boom and 5/8 yard bucket. Gas engine and standard counter weights, 12 foot tracks. (3 top rollers). We always figured about 17 tons.
Are you looking at one to purchase? The shovel weight would be close to the dragline weight.
Attaching a pic of it. My dad had this and we lost him last year and I was just looking for info on it. He also had a dragline and this ford a-64 loader without engine. Just mainly looking for weights so we can move them. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
