    We need som close up pics. Any of you guy's got one delivered? Test machines? I've seen some of the 980 but not of any other modells.

    once nice thing about cat loaders. you can see that same loader in 10 years from now, and it'll have the same tires on it. not worn, but weather checked...just don't have the ponies to spin em.

    LOL, They will spin. Four holes if thats what you want? I would rather driver the bucket into the pile and come out with a full bucket nice and smoth. And that is what you can do very easly with a Cat, time and time again. muzy

    i was just out at con expo They had a 980 and a 950 on display, the cabs are better than the g&h's but, i thought the new g series volvos looked better. dayexco is right the cat loaders i have been around have never been overly blessed with power, we run a 972h that replaced a 744h deere, and the deere even though its was like 10 yr older design would still out hustle the cat.

    So do you think spinning the tires is the only way the tread can be worn off,or are you just doggin' Caterpillars?
