Hey everyone! We're new here and wanted to introduce ourselves. We're two brothers who grew up on the family farm and have over 40 years in the mining industry. We noticed equipment operators were spending thousands of dollars a year on filter maintenance. What did we do? We spent thousands of hours testing, prototyping and developing a patent-pending pre-cleaner that far surpasses the competition. Our Paragon pre-cleaners not only remove more and smaller particulates from entering the engine air filter than the competition, they are far less air restrictive. The result? Less filter replacements, and less fuel consumption. Resulting in more money in your pocket. Not only that, many operators were struggling with air filters that were getting plugged with snow in cold climates. Requiring the operator to get out of the cab to replace the filter or have to wait for a mechanic to bring one from the shop. Our pre-cleaners completely solve that problem. Today, dozens of equipment operators have saved time and money by switching to Paragon pre-cleaners. Not to mention, our pre-cleaners are 100% made in North America. We are offering a 10% discount code to the Heavy Equipment Community. If you use the code, HEFORUMS at checkout, you'll receive the discount. We are also offering free shipping anywhere in North America! Going to get manufacturers to approve the use of this? If not all I see is manufacturer's denying warranty unless you guys got the insurance to fill the gap.
Bottom up airflow precleaners don't cut the mustard for me. The simple law of physics says the dirty air should enter the top and the dust expelled out the bottom. Top down precleaners don't recycle the expelled dust.
I don't doubt that your new design works well and likely better than the Turbo III unit that I currently run but, at 3X the price of my current pre-cleaner, which I thought was WAY overpriced when I had to replace a broken unit, don't look for me as a customer. Until pricing gets competitive with conventional units, there is no need for me to make any further analysis of the product. I wish you well in your endeavors but a close to $1,500 price tag is going to run off a lot of potential business imho.
Yeah, it might be a great product but not if it prices itself out of the market. Patents and development cost a lot of money but you need to look at long term payback not trying to get it all back as quickly as possible. I think you'd sell a lot more units if the price came down... quite a bit.
