I have 2 cases of BG Diesel fuel conditioner that are 20+ years old in my shop. (Bought new and still here.) I've been putting it in my bulk tank to help compensate for the new ULSD fuel. Does conditioner go bad on the shelf? Is it still OK to use?
Use it to burn brush piles.
Anyone know?
I would say that it is not OK for engine use. Fuel conditioners are made primarily from petroleum and distillates, and refined petroleum products break down and deteriorate over time. J
