this is the right way to use a tow strap right with a tilt trailer with nothing in the back
May help keep the tow strap from falling off the trailer... They better tighten it down though.
The tow strap was to hold the bodies down.
Might be to hold the side boards down. There is an old fella that comes to our asphalt plant. The boards are just sitting on the trailer. He spreads a blue plastic tarp, gets a load of sand, and then puts 2 straps down to hold the side boards in place. Been doing it for years. He rebuilds brick chimneys.
