First worked on this truck just over 2 months ago and found no fuel coming out of mechanical injection pump. Pulled pump off and took to shop for service, governor assembly jacked up and delivery valves out of whack. Just over 2 grand later in parts installed and have now used truck for 2 months and developed an engine knock. When turning engine by hand with 3/8 ratchet get to a tough spot where it's difficult to turn. Pulled rocker arm cover off and watched valve train with no issues noticed. Pulled injectors to look into cylinders just with light #2 looks pretty gummy. All the rest just "sooty". Gonna try with a scope tomorrow. Truck has 240,xxx miles and rly ain't worth an engine/rebuild in customers eyes. Any suggestions on possible issues?
