Isuzu 6UZ1 Engine Failure

Does anyone have any information on Isuzu 6UZ1 Gear Train Failures, and any service letters for the failures, Thanks

    There's no issues that i know of with the 6UZ1 engine. It seems just as reliable as the 6WG1 that it replaced in the Hitachi ZX470-5. Any info on what type of failure? What the suspected cause is?

    gear train failure, i have one that failed, and 2 that haven't yet

    i have a 6UZ1 apparent gear train issue 2017-18 link belt 490X4. injectoin pump timing slipped time but not on the coupling. must be inside the gear train housing. any one else?

    I pulled it and pulled rear housing,the idler gear lost teeth.5500 hours 490X4 LinkBelt. the idler is 3/8 inch wide. runs the entire gear train except for the fan drive pump
