A guy that lives in the neighborhood has an older gmc/isuzu. He asked me to get it running for him back in the spring. New priming pump and batteries got it running...badly. A little exploratory surgery revealed a stuck valve. Project stopped there for financial reasons. Fast forward to now and he wants to get it going. Any normal concerns on those? Heads prone to cracking etc.
Which engine does it have?
Sorry, I believe its the 4BD2T. 3.9. I haven't looked @ it since spring or early summer .
It's most likely a cammer,make sure it's still got a lobe,then just try to get it to pop loose and get some oil on it.It just mite be ok!
