My old 1977 JCB 1400 seems like the backhoe is weak. The loader has all the power in the world. Does anyone know how to check the bypass valve and what it looks like? Pictures/part#? I know the concept of hydraulics but i have never worked on the valve spools. Just keep it to changing hoses and repacking cylinders. Also, i was hoping to add a Hydraulic thumb. Since my machine doesnt have the extend a boom, does anyone know if the spools are the same with/without extend a boom? Would I be able to connect to it for the thumb controls?
