Hi Can anyone tell me what the error code ZFCB Error B1 means. this keeps appearing when you select 1st Gear but the Machine does not drive in 1st but has drive in all the rest of the gears. Thanks blcbob
ZF book that I have for a different trans shows code B1 to be slippage at K1 clutch which would be first gear. If there was failure of another clutch pending trans would go to limp home mode. Computer compares input speed to output speed and if it is out of range will give that code. Potential reasons are, 1. Low pressure at K1, 2. Low main pressure, 3. Wrong signal at input internal speed sensor, 4. Wrong signal at output speed sensor, 5. Wrong sensor gap, Or K1 clutch is defective. Don't know specs on your trans, but that is where I would start, find what pressure should be and go from there, low pressure could be seal rings or crack in clutch housing. Check filter for debris indicating clutch failure.
